It was a cold, blustery day (as in, about 6 days ago) when we pulled together our dream head-to-toe outfits from the shop for the Spring '13 Lookbook. We had sunshine on our minds but nary a blooming flower in sight, so we took over the center city home of totally fab friend and WILLED Spring to get here already. Apparently it worked - yeah '75-degrees-and-sunny-all-week' we're looking at you!

Here's a little sunshine coming at you straight from the screen; Graham & Spencer's Spring 13! The washed matte suiting is beyond chic, with its 3/4 sleeve jacket and cuffed slouchy pant. The double layer stretch jersey dress (read: flattering!) has a lace neck line, and the silk matte flapper dress is detailed with subtle yet stunning beadwork. All styles are in house now!
Founded in '09 by three friends from Sweden, Italy & Mexico, Maguba's mission is simple: Handcraft classic Swedish clogs with modern touches like fun colors and street inspired silhouettes. The added bonus is the company is also eco- friendly, working with simple natural materials such as wood, leather and water based paint.
We're loving these adorable clogs and are currently obsessing over the Chicago Clog & Sidney Boot shown above. Not only cute, but consciously crafted and comfortable...how could you argue that?
Introducing BY ZOÉ, a fashion line with Parisian edge known for its feminine and romantic style. Created in 2005 the line refreshes classic styles with originality by using beautiful and comfortable materials, perfect for a natural and sexy woman. Shown above the Circle jean jacket with removal sheerling collar, the Gaia patterned dress, the cozy Debo sweater, and the speckled grey Baby jacket. Even more styles in shop <3
So, last week we pulled together our favorite looks from the shop and trekked around downtown Philadelphia looking for inspiration. We found in spades; the streets of Old City were vibrant and charming, we had the most fabulous pizza ever at Pizzeria Stella, and by the end of the day we found our fashion groove for the season.
Just in: fresh, easy button ups that take you from day to night from new shop favorite, Tylho. Launched in 2005 by designer Tylor Ho, the line is inspired by sartorial street fashion and vintage clothing with a focus on old world construction. Signature styles showcase Ho's penchant for intricate patterns with whimsical touches such as hidden pockets and feminine pleats, love.

We're Loving: From left - Coral Tunic from Current/Elliott layered with Sisterwolves Necklaces, Oatmeal Line Sweater with Muubaa Bag, and Isabel Marant Blazer paired with A Peace Treaty and Samantha Wills Jewelry.
Looking for a little old-school glamour this New Year? Slip on a bauble designed by Australian designer Samantha Wills and you will definitely be ready for your close up! We are totally enchanted with her collection of bangles, rings and necklaces that are intricately detailed, embossed and set with gorgeous stones & crystals. Each piece arrives with it's own wood carved box, for safe keeping of your favorite trinkets. Swoon.
Luxe leather that is wears and tears perfectly on a daily basis! In shop now, fitted jackets with ribbed contrast panel for extra movement and roomy, lightweight totes and messanger bags.

There's a chill in the air, so throw those havianas to the back of the closet and give your leg a lift with these gorgeous styles! Here is what you'll find us wearing this week at the shop :)

A perfect little selection of Isabel Marant's Fall Etoile collection arrived this week! True, a few of the styles whisper "look at me lovingly from afar until the temperature drops below 65F" .. but many of her styles are very wearable, this very minute. This season's collection is so beautiful - standouts include delicate rose prints, subtle lurex striped dresses, and wine-hued floral corduroys.
Etoile pieces paired with Chan Luu wrap bracelets, vintage necklaces, Yosi Samra flats, Current/Elliott stiletto jeans, and ikat scarves. All in shop now.
With this week’s heat the girls at the Habit were all about easy pieces. A James Perse tank and breezy maxi skirt with side slit accessorized with a tissue thin printed scarf. The Dolce Vita ditsy floral print dress topped off with fun red kitten heels is simply essential. Cropped Genetic denim and tie dye tank are perfect for running around the city.
New Spring sweaters from oh-so-clever luxe knit label, Line. Always an in house favorite, Line sweaters are soft and enduring, with intricate weaves and great color palettes. Fresh new patterns for Spring, but overall the pieces are quite seasonless.
All styles are in house now, as sampled. (stunning) Shoes not included.
At first glance, printed silk pants & long skirts are a bit intimidating for Spring, no? But look further and you'll see they are rather easy to wear. Pair either trend with a neutral, streamlined top and you've got an ensemble that looks pretty fabulous and feels pretty casual.
That said, we have a huge crush on this little silk number from Rodebjer - the poppy print goes well with black, and the silk 'shorts' liner is quite cheeky. Love. Pick up your own pair here.
Silk pant by Rodebjer. Black top by James Perse. Sugi bag by local line Astrid.
Chiffon skirt by Maggie Ward. Drawstring leather bag by Monserrat de Lucca. Black snakeskin flats by Yosi Samra. Tops by FreePeople, and vintage.
LEIGH & LUCA scarves are a house favorite - we love the luxurious, urban feel to the scarves, which are woven on antique wooden looms and produced in limited editions. They wrap around the neck beautifully and serve quite well as a shawl or beach cover up.
LEIGH & LUCA just launched a small collection of handbags, and they are as perfect as the scarves! We heart the canvas bag with chain attachment for it's versatility, durability and good price point. Check out in-shop styles below ...
It was 103 degrees in Philadelphia today ... again. A bit hard to make a fashion statement in that kind of weather, no? But Erin Wasson's utterly cool yet very accessible jewelry line, Low Luv, makes the task a bit easier. So what if all you can bear to wear is a cotton shift dress and sandals? Pile on an armful of etched bangles and the gorgeous Aztec ring, and suddenly your look is complete.
We loved the Los Angeles based indie label A Common Thread, and were initially bummed upon word that Fall 09 would be their last collection. Lucky for us, the line didn't go away entirely but instead was reincarnated as Of Two Minds. Same chill west-coast vibe, but with a focus on vintage inspired patterns that are fresh, feminine, and tailored to perfection.
Featured above: Cap sleeve silk dress in zebra print, liberty print button down with elaborate embroidery across the shoulder blades, and cotton guaze camisole & poet's blouse. All in house now.
These fresh little numbers arrived on our doorstep yesterday. We tried them on, found them to feel divine, and hopped, skipped and jumped to the pedi chair to shed our winter feet.
The lazer-cut leather oxford (above left) is a terrifically feminine take on the classic design.. The strappy sandal on the right has EVERYTHING going for it; low-key hardware, a hidden platform lift and supple leather that wraps the ankle in a flattering angle. Love.
Above: Gomma long sleeve linen sweater, with open weave and close fit. Middle Pic: Cotton tight-knit sweater in olive, from Isabel Marant's Etoile collection. Above Right: Short sleeve Gomma in linen, featuring short sleeves, ribbed edges and roomy fit.

It's "Holiday Season", and you want to look cute for festivities with friends/family/coworkers/et al. Except, you've got a million errands to run for said festivities, and, yeah, it's really cold outside.
And so, this is our adopted look for the week. Take a colorful and silky top from Isabel Marant or Rebecca Taylor, pile on a cushy vintage sweater, cinch with a vintage belt and throw a Cynthia Vincent shopper bag over your shoulder.
Almost looks gift wrapped.
Featured Below: Glenna skirt by Rag & Bone. Volumonus tee with side button detail at waist and wrist. Cotton, fitted flannel by Les Halles, and Chan Luu wrap bracelets.
I don't quite why I'm so taken with this bag from Nicholas K; it's not a color I would usually go to and bows and tassles are not generally high on my list ... yet somehow the bag is still perfect. Supersoft leather exterior, with a canvas lining and zippered pouches on both inside flaps. The strap is removable, making for a fierce clutch.
Here is an entire outfit compiled specifically for the Greta Clutch: Duluth tee by Isabel Marant, vintage cardigan, super-slouchy skinnies by Current/Elliott, vintage belt.
New seasonal merchandise is starting to arrive in-house at Third Street Habit; pieces that have an eye towards Spring but can definitely be worn now. Our newest addition to the line-up is Nicholas K, an incredible line out of NYC. The brother & sister duo designers focus on travel-ready separates in muted cottons, linens & wools. The collection as a whole looks incredibly feminine and yet is totally durable for daily wear & tear. Our favorites below ...
