Pretty Grunge

New stock and new styles by new designers have been arriving at the shop every day lately! LOVING the serious Fall fashion, but having a great time pairing textures and colors of the more casual wares that we can totally rock in August heat.

Summer Wares, City Style

Back from the beach after a long holiday weekend, and we've been on a kick to compile breezy summer looks that work well in the city heat. Luckily a new selection of cotton tunics by Splendid just arrived, as did this washed silk romper by Maggie Ward. With an easy fit and a hint of stretch, this is silk that can take on mass transit, anyday.

Loving Les Halles

Indie 1970's denim label Les Halles has re-emerged with a small but perfect collection of denim and casual tops. The Straw Legging ($118) is soft and flattering with just the right amount of distressing, and the Girlscout Button Down ($88) has single-handedly won us over on the idea of rocking plaid.

Pretty Vintage Meets Dark Denim

 

Currently LOVING the feeling of soft, printed blouses mixed with dark and distressed denim. The Straw Legging by resurrected denim line Les Halles features perfect marbling, perfect fit, and even a perfect price point. Pair them with a few fresh vintage blouses (we've got rails of them!), and soon you won't care how many days it has been raining in the Northeast.
